Students become their own advocates
Description

6th-12th graders
During this 4-session course students will learn how to become their own best advocate by learning how to share their story with family members, teachers, future employers and friends. They will leave the class understanding what their educational rights are and how to help those around them understand their struggles, while also learning how to advocate for their accommodations and services.


This class is offered for:

- Middle School students (class size limited to 15 students) - 9:00-9:45 am PST (11:00-11:45am CST/12:00-12:45pm EST)

- High School students (class size limited to 15 students) 10:00-10:45am PST (12:00-12:45pm CST/ 1:00-1:45pm EST)

Session 1: T/Th - June 16, 18, 23, 25
Session 2: T/Th - June 30, July 2, 7, 9
Session 3: T/Th - July 21, 23, 28, 30

FEE: $150 Per Sessions
