What is a Micro-Credential?
We’re thrilled to offer an exclusive opportunity for participants of the Dyslexia Certificate Program (DCP) to showcase their expertise through our cutting-edge micro-credential partnership with Credentials Unlimited.
Participants who successfully complete all the requirements for the Dyslexia Certificate Program (DCP) and demonstrate mastery of the competencies through completion of classwork and assessments are eligible to receive the “DTI Dyslexia Certificate Program Mastery Badge.”
This micro-credential is a symbol of your commitment to excellence in the field of dyslexia education and empowers you to stand out as a leader in the field. Earning a micro-credential from Credentials Unlimited is a verification and certification of successful course completion with an 85% or better mastery on specific competencies. High-quality courses are aligned to standards and are awarded a certified badge and non-credit transcript.
*For those participating in the practicum, there will be an opportunity to earn additional practicum badge.

Sep 1: Register for your badge
Once you have been accepted into the Dyslexia Certificate Program, you can then register for the micro-credential.
Micro-badge fee: $75.00
Participants will receive registration instructions for the Micro-credential when they have completed the third course in the Dyslexia Certificate Program
Step 2: Complete the Dyslexia Certificate Program
This includes successful completion of the five courses, midterm and final.
Step 3: Receive Your Badge
Step 4: Continuing Education Requirement
Badges will be renewed every five years. In order to renew your badge, you must complete 40 hours of continuing professional development and have evidence of attendance and hours.
